Blade surface is little crinkle, leaves are nearly round with green edge, purple red stripes in the center, stem is green.
It grows rapidly. 60 days in spring planting and 35-40 days in summer and fall. The plant is 25 cm in height when maturity.
It will tolerate to hot, dry and moist areas. It is also resistant to diseases. It is very easy to cultivate.
Cultivation: Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. The best growth temperature is from 20°C to 36°C (68-95°F). Do not use nitrogen fertilizer as it will accumulate excess nitrates. The leaves and stems are best when harvested young.
Culinary tips: Use in stir-fries, soups and fresh in salads. Prepare like spinach. Leaves with red stripes will release red color into soups and dishes when cooked.
